U. C. Golden: This group of residents of University City is concerned about proposed traffic projects and is a valuable source of information regarding road construction threats to Rose Canyon.

San Diego Canyon Coalition: A project of the Sierra Club formed to facilitate the establishment of local canyon protection groups, and to increase communication among the newly formed and already established canyon groups in San Diego.

San Diego Natural History Museum's Bird Atlas: This project is important for monitoring bird distribution and providing scientific data with which it will be possible to assess effects of conservation planning and habitat management. The information will be of interest to scientists, teachers and students, land planners and managers, conservationists, and general bird enthusiasts.
